About Me
Welcome! I’m Breanna Lloyd, a Central Queensland journalist with a passion for sharing the stories that shape our communities.
I grew up on my family’s cattle property, Beeblee Station, near Nebo, where life on the land sparked my love of storytelling and regional issues.
Since joining Today News Group in early 2023, I’ve reported for CQ Today and Queensland Farmer Today, covering everything from hard news and council meetings to rural industry features and human-interest pieces. I now lead coverage of the Livingstone Shire while also managing advertorial content across several regional publications.
Alongside my reporting, I’m completing a Bachelor of Journalism, which finishes this year. Whether I’m writing about local government, agriculture, or the people who bring our region to life, my goal is to deliver accurate, engaging stories that connect readers to their community.
